This is a personal portfolio site. It's intentionally simple, and it collects as little as possible.

What's collected

There are no accounts, no advertising cookies, and no cross-site tracking. Nothing about you is stored in a database.

Page views are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, reads nothing out of your browser's storage, and does not fingerprint you or follow you to other sites. What I get is a count: which pages were opened, roughly which country from, and which site linked here. None of it identifies anyone.

The one exception is the contact form. When you send a message, the name, email address, and message you typed are passed to Resend, the service that delivers it, and the email lands in my personal inbox. Nothing is written to a database here or kept on the site. I keep those emails as long as the conversation is useful, and you can ask me to delete one at any time.

Switching the site between dark and light saves that one choice in your browser's local storage, under theme. It stays on your device, is never sent here, and holds nothing but the word dark or light. Clearing your site data forgets it and the site goes back to following your system setting.

Sending a message also sets one cookie, shovin_contact_at, which holds nothing but the time you sent it. It exists so the form can't be hammered, expires after a minute, and never leaves this site.

The form is the only place the site asks you for anything. Everything else on it is read-only.

Hosting

Like any website, the host may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and operational reasons. These are not used to identify or profile you.

External links

Links out to GitHub, LinkedIn, Discord, and project demos lead to third-party services with their own privacy policies. This site isn't responsible for how they handle your data.
